The St George Football Association held its Annual Awards Dinner last night at the Venus Reception Lounge at Kogarah.  

It proved to be a historic evening for the Club's Juniors who for the first time took out the Association's highest award, the Club Championship for Clubs with 10 or more teams. A fantastic achievement on the back of what has been a successful season with all but 2 teams participating in semi finals.  The award demonstrates the success across the board for the Club's Juniors.  Each coach, manager, player played their part and so congratulations and well done to them all.

We would also like to congratulate Jove Ckorovski who was presented with the Club man of the Year award for his tireless efforts with the Juniors in season 2011.  Well done Jove.

A reminder that the Juniors are holding an information session next Tuesday night 20 September 2011 at the Ilinden Sports Centre. This is an opportunity for any person who is keen to come on board the Junior Committee to meet current Committee members and to outline what contribution that person is able to make.
